Welcome to Impact Montclair State, where faculty, staff members, and researchers can raise money to turn their great ideas into reality.
-Are affiliated with Montclair State and non-profit in nature;
-Have an account with the Montclair State Foundation for their department, program, or center, into which donations can be deposited;
-Consist of project leaders that are willing to create and market promotion materials before, during and after the campaign;
-Gain approval by submitting an application and project pitch before the next round deadline; or are approved by their respective Dean or Director

Where will my donation go?
Your donation will be distributed to the program, lab, institute, or department leading your selected project. All donations are processed through the Montclair State University Foundation.
How do I make a contribution?
1. Go to the project page of your choice.
2. Click the “Give Now” button.
3. Select the button for the donation level.
4. Fill out your information.
5. Click the “Give Now” button again and you’re done!
Does my gift count toward my senior gift or reunion giving goals?
Yes, all crowdfunding gifts made within the current calendar year count toward your senior class gift or reunion giving totals.
Is my gift eligible for employer/corporate matching?
Yes. However, it can take several months for employers’ matching funds to reach the Montclair State University Foundation. In the event the match does not arrive before the project deadline, it will be applied to the respective club or organization’s account for future projects.
What is your refund policy?
By making a charitable gift to the Montclair State University Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, the donor understands that charitable donations are not refundable.
What happens if the project is not fully funded within the 30-day campaign?
The project creators will receive all funding made to the project, even if the goal is not achieved.
What if I'm interested in using a 3rd party site to crowdfund?

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. The stated amount of your gift qualifies as a deductible charitable contribution. No goods or services were provided in return for your gift. If you make a donation, you will receive a receipt via email.
Can I make a gift via check or another method besides credit card?
Online gifts made via credit card have an immediate impact at Montclair State. By making your gift using our secure, online portal, your gift is also automatically counted into our campaign totals. However, if you prefer to mail your gift, please make checks payable to the Montclair State University Foundation, 1 Normal Avenue, Montclair, NJ, 07043. Please write the project name and include the designation in the memo line.
What types of credit cards do you accept?
The Montclair State University Foundation accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
