Student athletes at Montclair State boast an impressive array of accomplishments athletically and academically. More than 400 students participate in the University's 18 varsity sports and each year they compete at the highest levels. To date, the University has captured 5 NCAA Division III national championships and more than 250 Red Hawks have been named All-Americans.   There is nothing quite like the enormous pride and loyalty that past and present Red Hawks feel for Montclair State. In order to ensure that current and future Red Hawks have access to all of the benefits of team sports participation, the University needs the help of alumni, parents, friends and supporters. A building block of that history is Montclair State's Sports Medicine and Athletic Training program. <p>Support Sports Medicine!</p> Montclair State University has a long history as a dominant force in NCAA Division III, and a building block of that history is Montclair State's recognition of the critical role that Sports Medicine Team plays in the prevention and care of sports-related injuries. The Montclair State Sports Medicine staff has a tradition of providing quality medical care for the student-athletes at MSU. We recognize each injury as an important moment in a student-athlete’s life and aim to educate them about their injury as well as return them to play.  Our Sports Medicine Team of medical experts include; team physicians with specialties such as orthopedics, surgeons, primary care physicians, and our staff athletic trainers.  Our staff athletic trainers provide daily coverage of our 18 NCAA Division III sports and are proud to serve as clinical preceptors for the Montclair State University Athletic Training Education Program.  This program provides athletic training students with a well-rounded education, while providing ample opportunities for instruction and interaction from our sports medicine team, and other specialists as deemed appropriate.  These students are prepared for careers in an expanding field that unites athletics, medicine, and health care.  Please consider donating to the Montclair State University Sports Medicine Office to help assist the care of our student-athletes.

Our student-athletes achieve incredible success in the classroom. <p>Support Student Athletes at Montclair State!</p> The Student Development for Athletes (SDA) program at Montclair State University is proud of our Red Hawks! Our student-athletes achieve incredible success in the classroom. Over 60 students were inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society this year and over 250 student-athletes were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in the classroom. SDA provides academic advisement, tutoring, career planning, educational programming among other things to assist the student-athletes in reaching their academic goals. Help us, to help them by donating today! All donations will go towards our Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) programming and services, where we help student-athletes work towards their academic aspirations.

We know that this success doesn’t come without hard work and it doesn’t come without help. <p>Support Women's Basketball!</p> The Montclair State Women’s Basketball Team has enjoyed tremendous success, rising to one of the top programs in the nation, Head Coach Karin Harvey has just completed her 16th season and has turned the Red Hawks into a national powerhouse. Harvey, the all-time winningest coach in program history, has led the Red Hawks to six New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships and seven NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball appearances, including a magical run to the Final Four in 2015 in which the Red Hawks finished third in the nation. Off the court, the Women’s Basketball team is committed to a culture of excellence. Excelling in the classroom, giving back to the community, and attaining a 100% graduation rate. Our alum are located throughout the country and are thriving in their chosen fields. Your support for the men’s basketball program provides our student-athletes an enhanced experience during their time at Montclair State University. <p>Support Men's Basketball!</p> On Thursday,  October 10th, 2024, the Red Hawks Basketball Team will hold its 4th Annual RED HAWK BASKETBALL FREE-THROW MARATHON to raise money that will directly supplement meals and transportation costs for our first-ever trip to Florida to play in the Cruisin Classic.The premise of the event is that each basketball player makes 100 free throws.  This event is a major part of our team’s fundraising initiative.    Please join our efforts by making a flat-rate donation to the program. Gift levels range from $20.00 - $100.00 or more! Office of Annual Giving Montclair State Men's Club Soccer aims to create a competitive yet friendly environment for all players. This team is full of young men with tremendous respect, honor, and love for the game. Each time we put on the jersey, we pride ourselves on representing Montclair State University. However, unfortunately, as time has passed, many of our uniforms and equipment have gone missing. In order to continue to operate as a club, we need to ensure that we have everything needed to play and compete. Paying our own league fees, referee fees, and travel fees can lead to extremely high registration costs, which can lead to many players not being able to play. All donations made will help cover the costs of playing and will hopefully also be able to cover the costs of new uniforms. We are aiming to set a strong foundation for our club to ensure that the players in the future have just the same opportunities that we did. We aim to pave the way for future student athletes joining the MSU Women's Club Soccer team by providing them with the equipment they need to participate.
We aim to pave the way for future student athletes joining the MSU Women's Club Soccer team by providing them with the equipment they need to participate. Office of Annual Giving We are a dedicated group of student athletes looking forward to helping broaden both our skills and love for the sport. Over the years, some of our equipment and many of our uniforms have gone missing. In order to continue as a club, we have to ensure we remain equipped with everything necessary to play. On top of these miscellaneous fees we pay our own league, tournament, referee, and travel fees. All donations made will help us cover these costs while fostering the club’s development and allowing us to keep our registration costs feasible as we want to ensure that a financial burden does not get between a player and the sport they love. We appreciate any donations that will bring us closer to our goal; these donations will be directly used by the club, and in turn, will have a direct positive impact on each player. We aim to pave the way for future student athletes joining the MSU Women's Club Soccer team by providing them with the equipment they need to participate. We are determined to raise money not only for our current team, but for the former club team players who have helped us get to where we are as well as the players who will take our positions in the future. Office of Annual Giving The Montclair State Men’s Club Basketball Team was founded in the 2011-2012 Academic Year. The Men’s Club Basketball Team still holds onto the values of its inception, which are an atmosphere of community and family, teamwork, and having fun in addition to competitively and proudly representing Montclair State University. In 2018, the team traveled to Ohio State to compete in the NIRSA National Championship Tournament. In April 2019, the team traveled to the NIRSA National Championship Tournament in Wichita, Kansas. We won our first Conference Championship in Spring 2020, <strong>qualified for the North Atlantic Regional Championship Tournament in 2022, and then won the back to back conference titles in 2022 and 2023.
