We all know that students need the proper tools to succeed in the classroom and that school supplies can be very costly. Help us as we come together to assist Montclair State students in need. The Emergency Book Fund is open to all students and assists those who would otherwise be unable to purchase needed textbooks due to financial hardship.
Established by Student Development and Campus Life, The Office of Financial Aid and The Office of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement, the Emergency Book Fund was created to supplement existing book scholarships and grants.
Margaree Coleman-Carter, Dean of Students, has seen the immediate impact that your donations made. “Students have been pouring into our office to apply for the funds, says Dean Carter. “There is a great need for this type of support for our students, and students have expressed their appreciation for this resource. The Emergency Book Fund will allow more deserving students an opportunity to purchase books and supplies critical to their academic success this semester.”
