We put this video out there less than 28 hours ago, and since, you helped us raise $825 dollars! Now, we are just 4% away from our goal of $5,000. That's only $175 dollars to meet our goal! We are almost there. We can do this! We know we can!
We want to thank the heroes that received our "bat-signal" and responded with the speed of "The Flash" and the strength of "The Hulk". #capeoptional
-The WMSC Student Staff & Anabella Poland, General Manager
This weekend, WMSC won not just one, but TWO Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) awards. And, they took home another 11 finalist awards! These dedicated students and staff members are working at a professional level. All of the students are volunteers!
Your support of this scholarship gives them even more opportunities to succeed!
Thank you again for your support and please remember to continue to spread the word!
We have less than one hour until the campaign closes out!
But... wait...
We have some exciting news!
Because we are so close to goal, we have extended our campaign deadline by one week!
Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign so far. Please, as a reminder, share this link and help us hit our goal by March 8!
I'm not crying, you are! My student management team recently organized two bake sales to raise funds to design a retro WMSC t-shirt and purchase one for each director and assistant director. They raised $200 dollars by spending close to 8 hours selling homemade cookies, brownies and cupcakes at the entrance of our building.
Not only did they bake all the offerings at the table, but they also made sure to have gluten-free and vegan options. Today, as a group, they decided they would donate these funds to the WMSC Excellence in Radio Scholarship instead of buying themselves t-shirts. My heart is busting at the seams! They make me proud each and every day! <3 Thank you so much for your very thoughtful gift!
Thanks to this gift, we are at 70% to goal!
- Anabella Poland, Director, WMSC
