What is Giving Tuesday?
For Montclair State, Giving Tuesday represents the chance to come together as a community of loyal supporters and give back to make an impact by supporting the Red Hawk Pantry. This global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration is observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. After the widely recognized shopping events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, Giving Tuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.
Support the Red Hawk Pantry
In April 2016, the Red Hawk Pantry opened for the first time and continues to serve the needs of our students. With your help, the pantry continues to grow and serve the needs of our students. Your support on Giving Tuesday will allow the Red Hawk Pantry to offer more hours, stock more supplies and expand its services to students.
