This year, Red Hawks play at the Crestmont Country Club in West Orange. The day includes lunch, golf, refreshments and dinner reception. Prizes awarded to our first, second, third and most honest teams! Test your skill for the closest to the pin, longest drive and beat the coach competitions. New venue, in person and lots of fun - we hope to see you there!

About the Red Hawk Open
Montclair State University’s 9th Annual Red Hawk Open will be held on Monday, September 13, at Crestmont Country Club in West Orange. Proceeds from the Red Hawk Open support the more than 500 student athletes and 18 varsity athletic programs of the Montclair State University Athletic Department. Join us and fellow alumni and friends of the University in support of our student athletes by coming out for a day on the links. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Your support of the Red Hawk Open helps our students excel athletically and it demonstrates to our athletes that their effort and commitment are valued by Montclair State alumni, community members and colleagues. Last year’s outing raised funds to enhance the Red Hawk Sports Network (RHSN), make locker room upgrades in Panzer Athletic Center and support game operations.
Support Montclair State Athletics
Proceeds from the 2021 outing will continue to enhance the RHSN. Your participation will support the production of games for livestream and will also help fund new state-of-the-art equipment, interviews, highlight packages, halftime shows and much more that will be featured on the network. Launched in 2019, the RHSN covers all of the Red Hawks’ 18 varsity athletic teams including live events through YouTube. As a joint venture between the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media, the RHSN is fully run by students, giving them experience in all aspects of sports journalism.
In addition to the RHSN, your support will help launch a new Women’s Performance Center and provide upgrades to the Panzer Fitness Center. With new equipment, turf and a hydration station in the space, the facilities for our student-athletes will be greatly enhanced.
