Jeff Jones. The man, the myth, the legend. For 35 years he has touched the lives of countless students, faculty and staff, and now, he is retiring.
Jeff began work at Montclair in 1988 when Broadcasting was a concentration in Speech and Theatre, SPTH. Over the years, we became the Department of Broadcasting, BDCS, TVDM, and now as a School, we are FMTV, and all during that time, Jeff was there, helping everyone.
In honor of his tireless service to generations of students throughout the years, we are asking you to help us name the Equipment Shop after Jeff. In order to do this, we need to raise $5,000 for naming rights, and, 100% of the money raised will go directly to student scholarships which will keep Jeff's legacy going for future students of the School of Communication and Media.
Jeff fixed cameras, trained students how to operate equipment, and saved the day so many times for so many students, faculty, and staff.
Whether you were an ace at Jeff’s puzzles or you listened to all of his great stories, if you knew him, you were very, very lucky. Please consider donating to this fund to help us honor Jeff this way.
Shhhhh! It’s a surprise! When we raise the full amount and secure the naming rights, we will invite all who donated to an unveiling soiree!
