Join Us on the Links – May 6 and 7!
Mark your calendar for Monday, May 6, and Tuesday, May 7, 2024, for the Global Center on Human Trafficking (GCHT) Women’s Charity Golf Event: Going the Distance, featuring four time World Long Drive Champion Phillis Meti! Join us on the links this May at the Mahopac Golf and Beach Club in Mahopac, New York. The day includes breakfast, an exhibition by golf pro Phillis Meti, golf and a closing reception. Prizes awarded to scramble winners. Test your skill for the closest to the pin and longest drive competitions. Day 2 includes the opportunity to learn from pro Phillis Meti in a small group setting (each session limited to 8 golfers). We hope to see you there!
Program Day 1, May 6 (includes breakfast, an exhibition by golf pro Phillis Meti, 18 holes of golf and a closing reception):
7:30 a.m. Registration
8:00 a.m. Breakfast Keynote Featuring Phillis Meti
10:00 a.m. On-course Demonstration with Phillis Meti
11:30 a.m. Shotgun Start - 18 Hole Scramble with Boxed Lunch
3:30 p.m. Closing Reception with Cash Bar and Light Appetizers
Program Day 2, May 7: Clinics (includes small group clinic with Phillis Meti with a limit of 8 golfers per Clinic; all clinic members are invited to join us for lunch from noon-1p.m.):
8:00 a.m. -12 pm Clinic Group 1: Small Group Clinic with Phillis Meti
12 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. All clinic members are invited to join us for lunch
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Clinic Group 2: Small Group Clinic with Phillis Meti
About the GCHT Women’s Charity Golf Event: Going the Distance
The event will take place across two days, May 6, 2024, and May 7, 2024, at the Mahopac Golf and Beach Club located at 601 N Lake Blvd, Mahopac, NY 10541. Join us, local community members, Montclair State University alumni, and friends to support the mission of the Global Center on Human Trafficking. Proceeds from the 2024 Women’s Charity Golf Event: Going the Distance, will benefit the mission of the Global Center on Human Trafficking at Montclair State University to mobilize collective action to develop novel solutions to the complex problems of human trafficking so that all people may live free from human trafficking.

About The Global Center on Human Trafficking
The Global Center on Human Trafficking is a multi-disciplinary effort focused on developing innovative solutions to the global problem of human trafficking.
