Support Red Hawk Football, Honor a Legacy

Support Red Hawk Football. Honor a Legacy.

For 40 seasons, Coach Rick Giancola built more than a winning football program at Montclair State University. He helped shape generations of young men through discipline, accountability, teamwork, and relationships that have lasted long after their playing days.

His 260 victories and 12 conference championships tell an extraordinary story. But perhaps his greatest legacy is found in the former players who continue to carry those lessons throughout their lives.

On September 3, we celebrated that legacy with the dedication of Rick Giancola – Sprague Field, a lasting tribute to the coach and the program he helped build.

The field now bears his name. Together, we can carry his legacy forward.

Our Goal: 250 Supporters. One Football Family.

We're inviting 250 former players, current parents, alumni, and friends to come together in support of Montclair Football.

Under Coach Mike Palazzo's leadership, today's Red Hawks are building their own experiences, traditions, and lifelong connections.

Your gift helps strengthen the program and create opportunities for the next generation of student-athletes.

Your Support Makes a Difference

Campaign gifts will help advance important priorities, including:

• Leadership and professional development: Preparing student-athletes for success beyond football.

• Academic and personal success: Supporting resources that help young men thrive in the classroom and in life.

• The student-athlete experience: Enhancing equipment, facilities, wellness, and the traditions that connect the football family.

Be Part of What Comes Next

Coach G's legacy is about more than what was accomplished on the field. It's about the people, the relationships, and the values that continue to define Montclair Football.

Whether you wore the uniform, cheered from the stands, or support the program today, you have a place in this football family.

Will you be one of the 250?

Make a gift that is meaningful to you and help carry this legacy forward.

If Montclair Football has made a difference in your life, invite a former teammate, parent, or friend to join you.
