The Emergency Book Fund provides vital assistance to Montclair State University students who would otherwise be unable to purchase required books and materials due to financial hardship. Students in need can use these emergency funds to purchase hard-cover and online books and resources they need to be successful in school. 

Last year, Ahmad, a dedicated member of the Class of 2025, faced one final obstacle before graduation: an expensive online textbook for his required computer science course. The cost was overwhelming. When he learned about the Emergency Book Fund, he felt a tremendous sense of relief. Thanks to generous donors, Ahmad received the support he needed and proudly earned his degree.

As we welcome Red Hawks back to campus this fall, there are many more students like Ahmad who need help accessing the resources essential to their academic success. This is where we all come in. Faculty, staff, alumni, students, families, and friends, together, we can make a meaningful impact.
