Hi everyone and TGIF!
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Excellence in Radio Scholarship and Training Fund, the blooper reel for "This Goes to 11" has been unlocked! We had a lot of fun filming this video greeting for World College Radio Day! This look behind the scenes, makes it evident that being part of our team is a lot of fun!
Please continue to share the link with everyone you know. If we reach $3,500 we will be able to help two more students AND it will unlock a behind the scenes video for the making of "The Nightmare Before World College Radio Day" musical.
We hope you have a great weekend, filled with laugher!

Aside from all the flurry of activity related to World College Radio Day and day-to-day operations, our team participated in coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris' visit to campus to promote vaccines and highlight the importance of federal funding for childcare.

The September / October bi-monthly newsletter is out and you can keep up with the latest and greatest from our team there too. https://wmscradio.com/newsletter/
As always, we are lucky to have such committed family and friends of WMSC that continue to support our efforts. The drive remains open for another ten days, and although we set a goal and blew past it, we are still in fundraising mode to recognize more students. Thank you for sharing the link with everyone you know!
Sincerely,
Anabella Poland & the WMSC Student Management Team.

In a matter of just five days, we not only reached our initial goal of $1,500, we smashed it! World College Radio Day (WCRD) was a huge success for everyone involved at WMSC. We put together 34 hours of great content. Our students were on WPIX morning show for 3 minutes! They interviewed with SiriusXM Hits 1's "The Morning Mash Up" and "Busted Open". It was a truly memorable return to in-person WCRD!
This means you unlocked the "Weird Al" Yankovic, World College Radio Day interview! You can listen to it right here: https://soundcloud.com/wmsc/the-weird-al-yankovic-interview
With 26 days to go, we have set a new goal of $2,500 so that we can assist more deserving students defray the cost of tuition and send more students to training!
When we meet our next goal of $2,500, we will release a video of ALL the bloopers we got while recording "This Goes to 11" video greeting.
Thank you for your continued support of MSU students who volunteer at the campus radio station! You really took it to 11 too! <3
