WMSC 90.3 FM, the official student radio station of Montclair State University, is a finalist for a 2023 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Marconi Radio Award in the “College Radio Station of the Year” category. This is the fifth time the station has received a Marconi nomination, and the fourth time in this category. The Marconi Awards are the highest award in the radio industry and this student-operated campus radio station continues to produce high-caliber, ambitious content that transcends the airwaves.
The National Association of Broadcasters will be announcing the winners at the annual Marconi Awards dinner during the NAB Radio Show in New York City, on October 25th and we need your help to send the entire student management team and the adviser to this event. The opportunity to attend "Radio's Biggest Night" and network with the entire industry will be a transformative experience for our students as they get to network with the biggest names in radio.
Any funds raised beyond the cost of attending the NAB Radio Show Expo, Conference and Marconi awards, will be used to take students to other conferences such as the National Student Media Convention.
